Five things you should know about Lions Club Student of the Month RaeAnna Zinniel.
RaeAnna’s school activities at St. Mary’s include playing on the volleyball and softball teams. She is also in band and the student director for the high school musical. In addition, RaeAnna is class vice president and a member of the St. Mary’s Student Council.
In the community RaeAnna volunteers her time at Divine Providence Community Home, is a mass server and piano accompanist. In her spare time she enjoys playing piano and saxophone and spending time with family.
Personal Values and Strengths
The personal values and strengths that RaeAnna believes will help her succeed include her ability to be patient with young children and her love of music.
“I value and respect people of all abilities and want to expand my knowledge of people’s uniqueness,” RaeAnna said. “Perseverance and parental support has helped me foster my music abilities.”
Greatest Influence in Life
The person that RaeAnna says has been one of the most influential people in her life has always been her mother.
“She has taught me many valuable life lessons and has always supported me,” RaeAnna said. “One day I hope to be a kind, supportive and nurturing mother like her.”
Following graduation RaeAnna plans to go to college for music education and music therapy. Following college she would like to be employed at a school and help children with special needs through music.
