Students in grades 5-8 enjoyed carving pumpkins for art class at St. John's Lutheran School. Each student designed their own pumpkin and demonstrated good patience with their designs. More importantly, everyone was very helpful toward one another and enjoyed each student's design. This art class was messy but lots of fun!

Students grades five through eight from St. John's Lutheran School took a three-day field trip to Danbury, Wis. on October 15-17. The purpose of the field trip was to enjoy friendship and fellowship with area Lutheran schools and also learn outdoor survival skills. The students also stopped at the Northwest Company Fur Post in Pine City, and the Hinckley Fire Museum in Hinckley. Both places were filled with Minnesota history and were educational for the students. The trip was enjoyed by the students and chaperones alike!
