Short and sweet, here it is: Thursday is already Thanksgiving.
Traditionally a time to spend with family and friends celebrating the things we have received purely by God’s grace and love for us. I wish you safe travels to your destination and sincerely hope you have a wonderful day.
My hometown plays in the state championship game on Friday for nine-man football which my nephew Shane is a team member. Good Luck Clinton, Graceville, Beardsley Wolverines! I hope to be there to cheer you on.
Saturday is Mom’s birthday. Happy Birthday Mom as I know you read this space faithfully every week. I love you and I’ll see you on Thursday!
Happy Thanksgiving from your friends and neighbors at the Herald-Dispatch!
Thought for the week:
An Irish Blessing
May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two,
May the sun always shine on your windowpane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain,
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
