The ECIPs will deal with ages 3-5 at this session and define types of observation and the benefits of individual observations. Six different areas of development can be assessed as the child grows.

ECFE families will be able to get into the holiday spirit on Thursday, Dec. 13, 6:30-8 p.m. when they participate in an open gym and other holiday activities like games, music and frosting cookies. Registration is encouraged to help staff prepare for the activities.

Another group of teenagers will have completed classroom driver’s education this coming week. It is never easy to fit ten classes or thirty hours around schedules of students with school, family and work obligations but the group was able to make sacrifices and set priorities for this important milestone in their lives.

The Community Education office is located in room 109 of the Sleepy Eye High School. School day office hours are generally 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Since staff is part-time, they may not always be in the building. You can call and leave a message on voicemail, 507-794-7873, and we will get back to you with more information. Another option is to e-mail staff with questions and to sign-up. Addresses are on the school website.
