  • The month is about half over, but there are a few offerings yet to take advantage of in the Community Education program. They are:
     
    Babies class on Saturday, Nov. 17, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
     
    All Day Quilting class on Saturday, Nov. 17, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
     
    Renewal 55 Alive driving class on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 5:30-9:30 p.m.
     
    ECIP training on Monday, Nov. 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

    ECFE families will be able to get into the holiday spirit on Thursday, Dec. 13, 6:30-8 p.m. when they participate in an open gym and other holiday activities like games, music, frosting cookies. Registration is encouraged to help staff prepare for the activities.
    The last class for fall ECFE will be on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

    Sign-up for Snowmobile Safety Training is on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 6-7:30 p.m., at the Club House in Essig. The actual class will be on Dec. 1 at 8 a.m. Youth who are 11-15 are eligible to participate in this training. For more information contact the New Ulm DNR at 507-359-6043.

    The last outing scheduled for this fall is a trip to the Lundstrom Family Country Christmas Show in Lakeville on Saturday, Dec. 8, 3:30 p.m. show. A group of tickets have been reserved and final numbers are needed by Monday, Nov. 26.

    The advisory board will be working on the winter-spring brochure and welcome any suggestions you may have for teachers, classes, events and activities. Popular classes include 55 Alive and Computers 4 Life which will continue in the New Year as well as ECFE classes.
