In conjunction with the Summer Olympics, the theme this year was “Accelerated Reading Olympics.” The students wore their red, white and blue and competed in a variety of events: a “javelin” throw (with plastic straws), a “shot put” (with cotton balls), a balance beam, a bean bag toss, a ring toss, and beach volleyball.

The events were held on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at the fieldhouse.
