Frank J. "Rooster" Hieronymus, 65, of rural Sleepy Eye, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at his home after a battle with lung cancer.
Frank J. "Rooster" Hieronymus, 65, of rural Sleepy Eye, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at his home after a battle with lung cancer. Memorial Service will be held at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. The Clergy will be Pastor Joshua P. Doughty. Frank was born on July 6, 1947 in LaCrosse, Wisc., the son of Frank A. and Mary L. (Brand) Hieronymus.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; children, Kari (Kevin) Hieronymus-Hansen of LaCrosse, Kimberly of Colorado Springs, Colo., Bradley
of Bozeman, Mont.; grandchild, Mackenzie "Mackie" Reese Hanson; step children, Tammi, Pam, David, Chris, Dawn, Mark and Adam; multiple step grandchildren, three great step grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mary Mae (Gardell) Marti of Sleepy Eye, Lorraine (Ron) McAuly of The Village, Fla., William of Texas, Irene of Sparta, Texas; half sisters, Romona Corheh, Darlene Hamilton, both of Oklahoma, Nancy Johnson of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Danny Hieronymus and Phillip Dahlstrand.
