While attending the Minnesota State Fair, several FFA members worked at the All You Can Drink Milk Stand and the Minnesota Farm Bureau Booth. It was a chance for our members to volunteer and do their part in promoting the agriculture industry in Minnesota. The members who participated in these booths included Sam Krebsbach, Dylan Dockter, Brandon Roiger, Emily Kjelshus and Sam Banken.
Page 2 of 2 - Katelyn Johnson, Sleepy Eye FFA Historian, was selected to work at the Minnesota State Fair Miracle of Birth Center. While working in the Miracle of Birth Center, Johnson did a very good job of representing the Sleepy Eye FFA. Her duties included milking the cows, feeding the calves and cows, washing the cows and answering questions from fairgoers.
Brandon Roiger, chapter president, also did a great job of representing the Sleepy Eye FFA chapter by working in the State Fair Chapter Leadership House. His duties included assisting activities on the Christensen Farms Stage, helping kids earn their agriculture explorer badge by asking them questions about agriculture and helping with an agriculture game where kids could spin a wheel to answer a question about Agriculture. Congratulations to Sleepy Eye FFA on their accomplishments at the Minnesota State Fair.
