Adeline Clara Forster was born July 27, 1929 in New Ulm to Benjamin and Mary (Zeig) Forster. She attended rural school in Sigel Township, Brown County near the family farm on Clear Lake. Adeline was united in marriage to Frank Saffert on May 16, 1950 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm.
