Wrestlers win to end regular season

The River Valley Wildcats closed out their regular season with an exciting 37-36 win over county rival New Ulm. In what has been called the “Battle of Brown County,” the Wildcats and Eagles kept fans on the edge of their seats. The match ended in a 36-36 tie, but the Wildcats were awarded the extra team point on the 8th tie breaking criteria.  The win leaves the Wildcats at 9-13 on the season. 

The conference tournament is at Springfield this Friday. Wrestling starts at 2 p.m.
