St. Mary’s Chess Club, comprising of 19 members this year, wrapped up its final week on March 27. From January through the end of March, kids in grades 3-9 participated in the after-school club, which offered kids the opportunity to exercise their brains while developing a lifelong skill of playing the strategic game of chess.
