- Local schools crown Geography Bee champions

- Palmer Hittesdorf, a seventh grader at Sleepy Eye Public School (SEPS) and Grace Weldy, an eighth grader at St. Mary’s School won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee. St. Mary’s held their Bee on Jan. 9 and SEPS held their Bee on Jan. 11. Both students now have a chance at a $25,000 college scholarship.
