- Elementary Students at Sleepy Eye Public treated parents, staff and students to a wintertime mini-musical in the high school gym last Wednesday morning. Students sang about hoping for a snow day to have some time at home. Several students played roles of news director, co-anchor, weather man, teachers and staff. Students sang and danced to songs about blizzards and calling school off. The event was produced and directed by music teacher Donovan Hanson.
