- National Geographic geography bee

- Classroom geography students from both St. Mary’s and Sleepy Eye Public Schools, took part in a Geography Bee to name the school champion. Jon Lux from St. Mary’s and Caleb Christensen from public were named school champions after several rounds of competition. Both students received certificates and medals for their achievement and will take a test to see if they qualify for the State Geography Bee.
